When it is time to start traveling by car with your baby and you´re out looking for a car seat, there are some things you need to think about. Think about safety above all, both in and outside of the car. Remember that babies and children are soft and the car is hard. So baby car safety is of the utmost importance.
The most safe and best way for a child to ride in the car is to sit facing backwards and fastened in a car seat that is approved by the Road Safety Office. There is a special kind of car seat for babies between newborn and 9 months old for the best possible baby car safety.

It can help to sit in the front and to be able to look out the window. If this isn’t possible, try to make your baby fall asleep before getting into the car. Sometimes it also helps to open the window. If none of these should work, when your baby is a little older there are different types of food to eat that can help with car sickness. Food with ginger or peppermint in is good for car sickness.
